Here is a a page that I created using Symbaloo on Cyberbullying. This page shows a collection of resources on Cyberbullying and Social Media that I put together for a High School classroom. The resources are sorted according to colour:

Black: Video

Green: Classroom poster.

Reflection: Here is a short reflection on cyberbullying, and on two strategies that could be used in a classroom to try to prevent it.

In order for a safe and fun classroom environment, especially in a high school setting, cyberbullying needs to be addressed as a current issue that is facing schools and effective strategies need to be developed to be used by teachers. One strategy could be implementing some type of project that involved researching and finding information on cyberbullying, such as finding and talking about news articles having to do with Cyberbulling. Giving an assignment like this could help to educate students and give them more information on the subject without it being dictated to them by a teacher. This could also help show them the consequences of their actions using technology and social media, and resources such as those I showcased in Part A of this module could greatly help in this. Another strategy could be asking the students their opinion on cyberbullying, such as what they think punishments should be, how they think it should be dealt with, or what forms they think it takes.

Part B: Cyberbullying Message
